Tickets from the neighboring Aikoku Station (“Country of Love Station”) to Kofuku Station (“Happiness Station”) became hugely popular as lucky charms bearing the auspicious message: “From Love to Happiness.”

Although the Hiroo Line was discontinued in 1987, owing to its immense popularity, the station building, the platform, and the iconic orange diesel train cars were preserved exactly as they were. Today, it welcomes countless tourists and couples as a “Railway Park.”
